Training from ground to saddle, in the arena or on the trail, from starting colts to competing in the show ring. All just a brief variation of Sarah's gifts when working with and training horses.
When Sarah was a little girl she had the hopes and dreams of becoming a gifted professional horse trainer someday. She got that opportunity to achieve her dream when she graduated the John and Josh Lyons Certification Program in October of 2001 at the age of 20. It was the best experience of her life behind having her daughter Sabella in September of 2005.
Sarah is inspired to change the lives of both horse and rider by teaching the training methods she has learned over the years, and continues to learn in the years to come. She truly values the importance of patience, consistency, repetition and most of all, building a soft, supple horse from nose to tail. These techniques will make your horse a much happier and willing partner!
In addition to being a JL Certified Trainer, she is a big believer in being very diverse when it comes to other training methods. Although she sticks to Natural Horsemanship, she doesnt limit her self to one method of training, she takes a little from many different trainers and incorporates it in to her daily routine. This is very important, because not every horse learns and responds the same way to one specific method of training, and may need a little extra TLC when it comes to understanding what's being asked of them.
So if you're looking for that trainer that is going to give your horse that little extra time and understanding, and an open mind and a passion for making sure you and your horse get the attention and training necessary ,for each of your individual personalities and athletic abilities, well then, shes the trainer for you!
